"ENJOY IT, IT GOES BY FAST!"

As a mom with young kids, I can't tell you how many times I've heard it- at church, in the grocery store parking lot, eating dinner... but it wasn't until my husband and I sat on the couch one night, both exhausted from the day, watching videos of our oldest daughter, that it hit us. We finally understood. Finally got it. We had blinked and our baby girl wasn't a baby anymore. HOW?! How had time gone so fast?

The raspy voice. The bow legged walk. The way she said Mama. Oh, my soul!

As parents, I know you've felt the same. And it seems as though the older they get, the faster time moves, and the more desperate we become to soak in and remember every moment we can.

Because one day we will be sipping our *hot* cup of coffee and our hearts will long for the days spent cleaning up the spilt cereal milk off the floor, kissing the boo-boos, and playing barbies & dinosaurs till bedtime.

The days are long but the years are short. Lets capture everything we can.
